Referrer: The individual or organization that successfully refers a third party to advertise one or more properties on www.accommodationforstudents.com. The referrer must be aged 18 or over.
Referred party: The unique individual or organization introduced by the referrer, who advertises one or more properties on www.accommodationforstudents.com. The referred party cannot hold an existing account with Accommodation for Students and must own or be legally responsible for managing the properties they advertise on AFS.
Referral scheme: Scheme operated by AFS to enable Referrer’s to generate Commission
Advertise: Pay to advertise a property on www.accommodationforstudents.com.
Unique individual or Organisation: A singular individual, company or other recognised entity. For the avoidance of doubt, a unique individual or organization that has more than one email address will still be counted as a unique.
Commission: 5% of the amount spent (excluding VAT) on property advertising on accommodationforstudents.com by the referred party for a period of one year from the date of the first valid advertisement.

The Referrer will receive Commission for each Referred party.
The Commission will be payable one month after the Referred party advertises one or more properties on www.accommodationforstudents.com by electronic bank transfer or any other similar method.
If the Referred party is referred by multiple referrer’s whichever referrer submitted the referral first will be deemed the referrer
A referrer cannot refer themselves to become a Referred party. AFS will withhold Commission if fraudulent activity is suspected. All decisions made by AFS are final.
In the event of any disputes, the decision of Accommodation for Students is final
In the event of any referrer not receiving Commission, claims must be sent in writing within 90 days to support@accommodationforstudents.com. Any claims received after a 90 day period cannot be considered.
Referrers are liable for any tax consequences of the receipt of any Commission and AFS accepts no liability in respect of those obligations
Accommodation for Students has the sole discretion to modify, cancel or terminate the Referral scheme at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, any and all future commission payments will terminate when the Referral scheme is terminated.
Accommodation for Students will collect and process the personal information of the Referrer and it will be shared with the AFS’s agents, affiliates and service providers (including those outside the European Economic Area) to the extent necessary in order to conduct the Referral scheme. These Referral Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
